Taking Decisions


We are confronted with situations in our life that demand very painful decisions from us. And sadly most of us shirk from going the hard way, and look for the short cuts. Short cuts, though easy and relieving, have very short lived life span and die soon, leaving us amid a bloodier quagmire. But the wise take the longer route, which is laborious, painful and momentarily looks as if one has failed. But as Louisa May Alcott writes,Painful as it may be, a significant emotional event can be the catalyst for choosing a direction that serves us—and those around us—more effectively, those taking painful decisions are much better off in the long run.
