While the Pakistani Cricket Team, currently touring Australia , is at the nadir of their performance, there is some rejoice as well. All credit goes to the bowlers who did their utmost to send shrills in the Australian Camp and need to be lauded for their excellent performance. Of these is also Pakistan’s leg-spinner Danish Kaneria, who claimed five wickets in the second innings of the Sydney Test against Australia, and became Pakistan’s FIRST ever SPINNER to reach the milestone of 250 wickets in Test cricket.
The 30-years old Kaneria is now followed by former leg-spinner Abdul Qadir, who took 236 wickets in 67 Tests and now ranks Fourth in the list of highest wicket takers in the Test matches (the other three being Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Imran Khan).
